Today is a very special day for the CCF Children Cancer Foundation and for everyone who believes in hope, courage, and solidarity.
Our ambassador John has set off on an extraordinary journey: traveling by bicycle all the way to the Taj Mahal. Covering around 8,000 kilometers, across approximately 15 countries in about 80 days, this adventure requires not only physical strength but above all one thing: an unbreakable spirit.
A Moving Start
Today’s departure could hardly have been more emotional. Under a shower of confetti and surrounded by numerous supporters, John was given a heartfelt send-off. Friends, companions, and supporters made this moment truly special—a symbolic beginning of a journey that goes far beyond geographical distances.
From Patient to Beacon of Hope
John knows from personal experience what it means to fight cancer. Months of treatments, chemotherapy, and physical and mental challenges have shaped his path. Today, as an ambassador for CCF, he stands for everyone who is currently facing this fight, showing that there is a way back to life.
With his journey, he aims to inspire courage, raise awareness, and collect donations for children with cancer and their families.

In the coming weeks, John will cover around 100 kilometers each day. His route will take him through different countries and cultures, all with one goal in mind: to stand in front of the Taj Mahal at the end of his journey.
But even more important is reaching people along the way, sharing stories, and spreading hope.
