Big Band Liechtenstein and James Morrison for CCF

Charity concert thrills Stuttgart

Music, solidarity and hope defined the evening of 4 July 2026 at the Jazz Open Stuttgart. During a special charity concert supporting the newly established CCF Children’s Cancer Foundation Germany, internationally acclaimed Australian musician James Morrison and the Big Band Liechtenstein captivated the audience at the sold-out SpardaWelt venue.

For the CCF, this was far more than a concert. It marked an emotional milestone in the development of our new sister foundation in Germany. With standing ovations and enthusiastic applause, the audience not only celebrated an exceptional musical performance but also expressed their support for children affected by cancer and their families.

The symbolic significance of the evening was particularly moving. The Big Band Liechtenstein travelled to Stuttgart as a musical ambassador from Liechtenstein—the country where the CCF was founded. In doing so, the performance created a meaningful connection between our roots and our commitment to supporting families in Germany.

James Morrison and the Big Band Liechtenstein have enjoyed a close musical partnership for many years. Together, they delivered a performance filled with energy, virtuosity and emotion. Yet the evening was about more than outstanding music. At its heart was a powerful message: no family facing a childhood cancer diagnosis should have to face that journey alone.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the Prince Franz Josef of Liechtenstein Foundation, whose generous support made this special performance possible. We also extend our sincere gratitude to the team of the CCF Children’s Cancer Foundation Germany, the organisers of the Jazz Open Stuttgart, everyone involved in making the event a success, and the many guests whose presence sent a powerful message of solidarity.

Moments like these remind us of what can be achieved when people dedicate their talents, time and compassion to a meaningful cause. Together, we can raise awareness of the challenges faced by children with cancer and their families, while bringing hope where it is needed most.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this unforgettable evening possible.
